Born December 16, 1943, in Lakeland to the late Joe Monk and Edith Norton B Browning, she was a receptionist for Dr. Andres Suarez and Dr. Daniel Peters. S She worked with the Gardens Infectious Disease Group in Palm Beach Gardens for m more than 30 years. They described her as a devoted employee, more like family t than an employee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Halley. Survivors include a son, Alan Gray of Nashville; sister and brother-in-law, Milton L. “Buddy” and Elaine Browning, and Wayne and Debbie Browning of Lakeland; aunt, Elizabeth Norton Tyer of Valdosta; niece and nephew, Coby Rice and Milton Browning; special family, friends and caregivers, Bob Langley, Rose Ellis, and Rita Dearmond. Funeral services were held August 27 at 3 p.m. at Lakeland Chapel of Music Funera Funeral Services with burial in Good Hope Cemetery near Naylor. Music Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
