  Ruth Bradford Harrell, 92, of Lakeland passed away January 10, 2015, at her 
son’s residence after a lengthy illness.
 She was born on December 24, 1922, in Lakeland to the late Lucious and Betty 
Brogdon Bradford. She was a homemaker after retiring from Levi Strauss. She 
loved her flowers and was of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, she 
is preceded in death by her husband, Crymes Harrell; son, Jesse L. Harrell; 
sister, Blanche Shiver; and a brother, Wallace Bradford.
 Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Paul Nix of 
Nashville, Patricia and Lester Watson of Valdosta, Yvonne Watson of Ithaca, MI; 
sons and daughters-in-law, Russell and Janice Harrell of Lakeland, Crymes and 
Cheryl Harrell of Perry; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-
law, Odessa Bradford of Lakeland; niece, Linda Dickerson of Americus.
 Funeral services were held on January 13 at 2 p.m. at Lakeland Chapel of Music 
Funeral Services.
 Interment was in Greenlawn Cemetery in Lakeland.
