He was born Oct. 10, 1951 in Lanier Co. to the late Robert Erman and Beulah L Lee Howard Rushing. He was employed by Chaparral Boats in Plant Maintenance. He is survived by two sons, Eric (Feleccia O’Steen) Rushing of Nashville, Ga., D David (Anne) Rushing, Reynolds, Ga.; three sisters, Judy (Marlin) Johnson, E Elizabeth (Donald) Starling, all of Nashville, Ga., Frances Cannon, Sparks; one b brother, Robert (Rev. Pat) Rushing, Vernon, Texas; and two grandchildren, Tyler R Rushing and Caroline Lowe. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 in the Chapel of Lovein Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Rushing officiating. Songs on CD included "When I Get Where I'm Going," "Go Rest High on That Mountain," and and "When the Saints Go Marching In." Interment will be held in Mud Creek Ce Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Stone, Charles Stanford, Glen Luke, John Brooks, Ronnie G Gaskins, Earl Wayne Brazeal.
