Born Oct. 10, 1943, in Brantley to the late Annie Scurry and William Bowen, Sr., she worked as a district supervisor for Regional Holiday Markets and co- owned Cheryl's Flowers and Balloons for many years. She was a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Stone. Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Scott Boan of Columbus, Cathy and Alan Harrell of Alapaha, Cheryl and Robbie Lee of Fargo; one son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Wanda Stone of Lakeland; grandchildren, Crystal Touchton (Ron) Heidi Riley (Brent), Amber Anderson (Billy), Paige Stone, Kevin Stone, Russ Harrell (Jessica), Lance Harrell, Jared O'Guin, Jessica Brown, Mackenzie Livingston, Anna Lee O'Guin, Mary Grace Lee, Ken Stone, Chris Stone, great-grandchildren, Kenneth Miller, Chrystian Touchton, Chansley Anderson, Brandon Riley, Amanda Riley; foster mother, Joy Boan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Allen Bowen, Tommy and Nancy Bowen, Jim Boan, J.W. Wood, Franklin and Jackie Wood; sisters, Treva Stevenson, Carolyn Naylor, Louise Williams; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sue Tucker, Janie and James McGuire, Reba and Earl Dent, Wilhemina and Steve Williford, Peggy Stone and Donald Browing. Becky and Delbert Barber, Lena and Tony Connell; brothers- in-law and sisters-in-law, R.J. and Joan Stone, James and Rhonda Stone, John and Karen Stone, Bob and Marilyn, a special cousin, Lucy Lee; a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. April 20 in the Lakeland Chapel of Music Funeral Services with burial following in Greenlawn Cemetery.
