 Ruby Stone, 64, of Lakeland died Nov. 6, 2011, after a sudden illness.
 She was born Sept. 11, 1947, to Mary Ellen White Cook Monk of Lakeland and the l
late Dallas Cook. Following her retirement from Nashville Textile after 27 y
years, she was employed by the Lanier County Board of Education as a school bus d
driver for five years. She love Nascar racing and was a diehard Dale Earnhardt f
fan. She is preceded in death by a son, Olen Tilman Stone, Jr.
 Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Tilman Stone of 
Lakeland; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Jamie Stone and Debbie and 
Jean Bolling, all of Lakeland; grandchildren, Paige and Jason Frost of 
Lakeland; Kevin Stone of Lakeland; two sisters, Glennette Simpson and 
Sarah “Blondie” Cook; two brothers, Dallas “Buddy” Cook, Jr. and Edward Cook.
 A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 9 at Greenlawn Cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
