Thomas Daniel Spivey (parents Hardy Smith Spivey and M. Elizabeth Smith) was 
born October 3, 1895 in Laurens County, GA. He died May 31, 1957 in Laurens 
County, GA.  
  
He married Lizzie Graham on June 7, 1914 in Laurens County, GA.  His family 
called him TD.

The 1910 Laurens County Georgia Federal Census shows that Tom (age 15) was 
living with his parents, single, born in GA, and a farm laborer.

The 1920 Census shows Thomas Daniel (age 24) living next door to his father's 
farm and his Uncle John J. Spivey's farm that he owned free and clear.  In the 
same household were his wife, Lizzie(age 26)and his daughter, Agnes (age 1 
month).   

The 1930 Federal Census shows that Thomas (age 34) was living in Laurens County 
with his wife, Lizzie (age 37), and a daughter, Agnes (age 11).  He rented his 
home and was a farmer on a general farm.  Thomas was 18 years old when he 
married Lizzie, who was 21 years old.  Lizzie was born in Georgia, and so were 
both her parents.  Thomas was not a veteran.  Both Thomas and Lizzie could read 
and write.

T.D. owned a little store in Rockledge, GA.

He is buried in Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurens County, GA
  
Thomas Daniel married Lizzie Graham on June 7, 1914 in Laurens County, GA. 
Lizzie was born December 25, 1894. She died December 28, 1973 in Laurens 
County, GA.  
  
Thomas Daniel Spivey and Lizzie Graham had the following children:
 
  1. Agnes Spivey was born 1920 in Laurens County, GA.
