Nellie Spivey (parents Hardy Smith Spivey and M. Elizabeth Smith) was born 
December 18, 1897 in Laurens County, GA. She died May 25, 1930 in Treutlen, 
GA.  
  
The 1910 Federal Census shows Nellie (age 11) living with her parents in 
Rockledge, GA, on a farm that her father owned free and clear.

Nellie married Jim Hanson and they had six children.  She died after delivering 
twin girls from an infection.  Nellie is buried next to her husband, Jim L. 
Hanson at Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Laurens County, Georgia.

Nellie married Jim Hanson. Jim was born December 5, 1891 in Georgia. He died 
April 20, 1966 in Soperton, GA.
