   Family of Joel Thomas Watson
 
Joel Thomas Watson was born 1861 in Dublin, Laurens, Ga, and died April 19, 
1922 in Dublin, Laurens,  GA, a son of David McGinta Watson and Mary Jane 
Worthy Watson.  He married Sarah Sally Dalton February 07, 1884 in Dublin, 
Laurens, Ga, daughter of Rhandolphus Dalton.  She was born February 12, 1868 in 
Dublin, Laurens, Ga, and died January 29, 1957 in Macon, Bibb, GA.
 
Joel Thomas was a farmer and operated the Blackshear Ferry for a long time.  
She said Joel Thomas and  Sarah are buried at Memorial Park Cemetery on 
Columbus Road in Macon.
 
Children of Joel Watson and Sarah Dalton are

i. Joel Victor10 Watson, born April 18, 1888 in Dublin, Laurens, Ga; died 1888 
in Dublin, Laurens, Ga.

ii. Beulah Watson, born December 13, 1888 in Dublin, Laurens, Ga; died November 
10, 1973 in Macon, Bibb, Ga.

iii. Myrtle Ella Watson, born July 07, 1890 in Dublin, Laurens, Ga; died 
October 25, 1966 in Macon, Bibb, GA.    She married James T. Beacham March 27, 
1912 in Dublin, Laurens, Ga; born Abt. 1890 in Dublin, Laurens, Ga.  She was 
named for her Aunt Ella, her father's sister.  
 
Children of Beulah Watson and Bracton Godbee are:
i. Mathilde Godbee, born in ,Laurens, Ga; died 1970 in Macon, Bibb, Ga.  She 
married Roy    Gunter.
ii. Sallie Godbee, born 1908 in Bulloch, Ga.
iii. Hilda Watson, born October 02, 1915 in ,Laurens, Ga; died February 1986 
in  Macon, Bibb, Ga.  She married A.C. Butch Hulsey.
iv. Bracton W Godbee, born December 06, 1915 in ,Laurens, Ga.  He married 
Evelyn Alford 1941 in Dublin, Laurens, Ga.
