GA Vincent Watson, born Abt. 1790 probably in Johnston County, North Carolina. He died in 1829 in Dublin, Laurens, Ga. He married Prudence Hill July 13, 1815, in Dublin, Laurens County, Ga. She was born about. 1790. I believe he was the son of Silas Watson, Sr. and his first Unknown wife. She and Silas Sr probably married in Johnston County, North Carolina, and she must have died there because he was listed as alone in his house in 1790 Federal Census. Silas Sr married Kessiah Ussery in Laurens Co. September 13, 1812. Vincent died early, 1829 , probably Laurens County and Labon Watson was appointed administrator of his estate. The naming of a child Vinson in a later generation by our Worthy / Watson families lets me believe he was a son of Silas, Sr. I have not seen a grave for him, nor have I seen a written record of his death and this makes me wonder if he is buried at The Ditch, where so many of my relatives were buried. It was a pretty, well kept cemetery and there was no charge to the family for burying their loved one there. It was in their neighborhood and that meant a lot back then. Vincent drew land in the 1827 lottery just before he died. He was living in Laurens Co. in Deans Georgia Militia Unit, and drew land in Troup County.
