William Braxton Taylor, born, January 8, 1867,
Pringle Community, Washington Co., Georgia.  Died
February 18, 1952, Dexter, Georgia and I believe
that he is buried in Northview Cemetery, Dublin,
GA.  He married Edna Earle Melvina New, January
24, 1892.  She was born March 5, 1874, Washington
Co., GA and died September 20, 1861, Dexter, GA.
They had six daughters and one son.

Dr. Taylor attended Georgia Medical College in
Augusta and graduated with honors.  He did
postgraduate work at Georgia Medical College and
New York Polyclinic Medical School where he
received a diploma in gynecology.  He served in
legislature 1911-1914 as Road Commissioner and on
the Dexter School Board.

Dr. Taylor was the second child of John Daniel
Taylor, Jr. and Amanda Melvira Moye.  He had one
older brother, three younger brothers and four
younger sisters.
