I was provided with a document concerning the cemetery and visited myself recently. Here is the information concerning that cemetery. Heath-Wilkinson Cemetery The following information was provided by a document created by Mrs. E.B. Claxton Jr. and Miss Martha Hooks. A deed in the Laurens County Court House shows that Samuel Hodges and William Larkins bought Lot # 313 on a line south of Little Rocky Creek from Kindred Partin in 1840. Samuel Hodges married William Larkin’s only daughter, Betsy. Hodge died without any children. Betsy Larkin Hodge married a second time to Abram LaFavor. They had four children as follows: Sara C. Mary C. who married J. T. Heath Margaret who married J.T. Wilkinson A son who never married The following information was obtained while visiting this cemetery: The cemetery is maintained by the English family. They are reimbursed by the Wilkinson family.
