NOTES FOR THE 1820 LAURENS CO., GA CENSUS:

1. pages 1 and 2 are title pages, no census data on them.

2. page 3: summation page for census; the following text appears:

The Total amount of Females is 1662  }  The total Amount of Mail Slaves is 952
The Total amount of Males is 1787    }  The total Amount Female Slaves is 993
The total amount of Males & Females is 3057  }  Total Amount of Males & Females is 1975
The amount of Free Persons of coller is 11

The total amount of the inhabbitance of the County of Lauren is (5406)

The number of Persons within my division consisting of Free White Females & Males together 
with Male & Female Slave & Persons of Culler, appears in a Schedule here to annote Subscribed 
by me this 30th day of January one Thousand Eight Hundred & Twenty one
