Laurens County Georgia Deeds John Cary appoints attorney File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Barbara Walker Winge Table of Contents page: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/laurens.htm Georgia Table of Contents: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm State of Georgia Laurens County Know all men by these presents, that I John Cary of the aforesaid state and County do nominate constitute and appoint my true and grusty friend Alexander Turner of the aforesaid state and County my true and lawful attorney for me and in my name and behalf to sell & dispose of a certain lot or tract of land drawn in the late land lottery lying and being in the Eighth district of Henry County which tract or parcel of land he the said Alexander Turner is as full authorized to sell and dispose of & make title to as though myself were personally present & contract the same in person and all acts & deeds in making to this to said land by the said Alexander Turner in selling and contracting or conveying said land shall be binding on me my heirs and assigns as though I were present in my own act. and deed and this is therefore to works and disannual and any other other power of right and establish this my last signed & hereby revoke all other power.
