Roach of the State of Georgia Laurens County, of the one part and Young Keen of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said James M. Roach for and in consideration of fifty dollars to him in hand paid hath hearby bargained, sold and conveyed unto him the said Young Keen his heirs and assigns the following tracts of land lying and being in the county of Laurens. The first containing three hundred acres more or less on the waters of Oconee River having such shape form and marks as appear by a plat of the same annexed to a grant made to John Bush by John Milledge, Governor of the State the 19th May 1804. Registered in Book 5E folio 14, by Horatio Marbury Secry. The second tract containing sixty five acres having such shape form and marks a appear by a plat of the same annexed to a grant made to John Roach by John Milledge Governor of this State dated 16 July 1805. Registered in Book F5 folio 57 by Horatio Marbury Secry, and the other tract containing ten acres more or less having such shape form and marks as appears by a plat of the same annexed to a grant made to John Roach by John Milledge Governor of this state on 11 September 1804. Registered in Book 5E folio 781 by H.M. Secry. Containing in the whole three hundred and seventy five acres more or less. To have and to hold the said bargained premises with their and every of their rights members and appurtanances thereto belonging or in any way appertaining to him the said Young Keen his heirs executors administrators and assignes and the said James M. Roach doth hearby warrant title and claim of the said premises to him the said Young Keen his heirs…in fee simple and said J.M. Roach further for and against himself his heirs….from and against the lawful claim or claims of all and every person whatever. In witness whereof the said James M. Roach hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his seal the day and year above written, signed sealed and delivered in presence of Asa L.Cook,R.W.W.Wynn, JP Jas. M.
