Please update your records concerning my great grandfather Thomas Miller. His grave marker at Silver Leaf Primitive Baptist church states that he served as a private with Company G, 32nd Infantry, CSA. This was based on unit muster roll information for Montgomery County where he resided at the time of his enlistment. His name also shows up on the unit roster for Company B/F, 20th Cavalry Battalion, Montgomery County. Thomas Miller filed for an indigent pension on May 18, 1907 in Laurens County. His pension application states that he enlisted in May 1862 at Savannah as a private in Co. B, 20th Cavalry, Millen's Battalion. He served as a wagoner and was discharged in April 1865 near Petersburg, Virginia. He was born about 1820 and died sometime between 1910 and 1918. Please add a note to your records reflecting this update. Thank you, Steve Miller urgsm.vet.rep@juno.com
