His wife remained in the buggy till the mule broke out, and was not hurt. Additional Comments: James Loyd Montford is the son of Henry Montford and Agey Stokes Montford. He married Elizabeth Adams on December 19th, 1839. Elizabeth is the daughter of Levin Adams.
