The Dublin Post December 21, 1881
Mr H.S. Montford killed three hogs Friday weighing respectively, 225, 260 and 
475 lbs., aggregating 960 lbs. They yielded twenty gallons of lard. Mr M. is 
one of the men who can furnish you a recipe for curing the hard times.
