                                                  William C. Barrs
 DEXTER---Funeral services for William C. "Bill" Barrs, 58, will be held 
Saturday at three PM in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with burial in Dublin 
Memorial Gardens.
 Mr. Barrs, a lifelong resident of Laurens County, died Thursday in a Dodge 
County hospital after a long illness. He was a member of the Middle Ground 
Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II. Mr. Barrs was a farmer.
 His survivors are his widow, Mrs. Catherine Coleman Barrs of Dexter; two 
sons, Billy Barrs of Dexter and Hilton Culpepper of Warner Robins; three 
sisters, Mrs. Erma Lee Daniels of Chester, Mrs. Ralph Bedingfield of Cadwell, 
and Mrs. Roy Cook of Macon; two brothers, Morrison Daniels of Dublin and 
Junior Daniels of Folkston; two stepsisters, two stepbrothers, and one 
granddaughter.
 The family will be at the Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home in Eastman from 
seven until nine PM tonight and the body will be placed in the church at two 
PM tomorrow.

William was born 9 Jul 1915 to Charlie Joe Barrs and Mattie Victoria Mullis 
Barrs. Georgia death certificate #011177.
