                           Catherine Barrs
 Services for Catherine C. Barrs, 66, of Route 1 Dexter, will be held at 2pm 
Thursday at Chester Baptist Church. The Rev. Auburn Davis and the Rev. J. W. 
Bowen will officiate. Burial will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens.
 A native of Montgomery County, Mrs. Barrs lived in Laurens County for the 
past 32 years. She was a retired office manager of Progressive Rural Telephone 
Co. in Rentz and a member of Chester Baptist Church. Mrs. Barrs died Tuesday 
at a Dublin hospital.
 Survivors include two sons, Hilton Culpepper and Billy Barrs of Dexter; a 
sister, Joann Claxton of Soperton; and four grandchildren.
 The family will be at the Barrs residence and will receive friends from 7-9 
tonight at Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home in Eastman.
 

Additional Comments:
Catherine was born 20 May 1925 to George Leland Coleman and Vera Mae Burns 
Coleman. Georgia death certificate #041632.
