Officiating ministers were the Rev. Fred Carter and Irvin Flanders and burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Nephews served as pallbearers with Sammons Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Beacham died Tuesday in a local hospital and was a member of the Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, H. B. Beacham; two sons, Otis Beacham of Rockledge and Rowe Beacham of Dublin; four sisters, Mrs. Eudell Lawrence, Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Frankie Fulford, Vidalia; Mrs. Dollie Graham, Ft. Pierce, Fla.; Mrs. Mamie Brickey, Rockledge; three brothers, Stanley Foskey, Mt. Vernon; T. R. Foskey, Rockledge; and Woodrow Foskey, Dublin; and three grandchildren. Additional Comments: Mobe "Mobie" (maiden name Foskey) was born 9-22-1896 and died 3-24-1955 (GA DC# 06436) and is buried in Mount Zion Cemetery at Rockledge in Laurens County, Georgia. Her husband, Hershel Braxton Beacham, as well as her parents, Joseph Radford Foskey and Desdemonie "Dinks" Graham, are also buried there.there.
