                      Mrs. Luman S. Blankenship
 EAST DUBLIN--- Mrs. Luman S. Blankenship, 101 Cullen St., died late Friday 
afternoon in a Dublin nursing home after being in declining health for several 
years. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday at the C. Homer Adams 
Chapel with Rev. C. E. Vines and Rev. Jimmy R. Smith officiating. Burial will 
be in Northview Cemetery.
 Born  and reared in Laurens County, Mrs. Blankenship was the daughter of the 
late Alfred Leonard Keene and Nancy Arbelia Stewart Keene. She was the former 
Bernice Keene Cullen and a member of the Jefferson Street Baptist Church.
 Survivors are her husband, Luman S. Blankenship of East Dublin; one son, O. 
D. Cullen Jr. of East Dublin; one daughter, Mrs. Andrew Ference of 
Tallahassee, Fl.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, 
Alfred Paul Keene of Claxton; five sisters, Mrs. Atys K. Smith, Mrs. Harold 
Jones, Mrs. C. B. Keene, Mrs. Dwight Danell, all of Dublin and Mrs. Bertha K. 
Harrison of Ellaville; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
 Pallbearers will be Chan Beasley, Dee Cullen, Bill Jones, Z. H. Perry, Bruce 
Bazemore,  and John Draper. The family will receive friends at the funeral 
home from 7:30 until 9:00pm tonight.
 Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Bernice was born 3 Apr 1901. her first husband was Ovid Dubinion Cullen Sr. 
who is also buried at Northview Cemetery. Georgia death certificate #001296.
