                      Minnie Lue Davis Bowles
 Graveside services for Mrs. Minnie Lue Davis Bowles, 95, will be held at 
Dublin Memorial Gardens on Tuesday morning August 11, 2009 at 10am. Rev. 
Joshua Meadows and Mr. Clift Crews, a very close friend, will officiate her 
service.
 Mrs. Bowles was born August 20, 1913 in Laurens County to the late Ira and 
Avy Chance Davis. A life time resident of Laurens County, Mrs. Bowles was 
employed for many years with Chappell and Hogan as a secreatry and bookkeeper. 
She was lifetime member of Dudley Baptist Church. Mrs. Bowles was preceded in 
death by her husband Zenus L. A. Bowles and a sister, Florence Brown.
 Mrs. Bowles passed away Sunday morning August 9, 2009 after an extended 
illness at a local nursing home.
 Adams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements for Mrs. Minnie Lue Davis 
Bowles.
