(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net July 7, 2012, 10:54 am The Dublin Courier Herald 6-28-1978 Mrs. Mary Ellen Brady Mrs. Mary Ellen Brady, 54, Rt. 1 Cadwell, died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 3pm Thursday at Cadwell Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Franks and Rev. Buford Raffield officiating. Burial will be in Reedy Springs Cemetery. A native of Laurens County, Mrs. Brady had been a resident of Macon for 30 years before moving back to Cadwell two years ago. She was a member of Cross Keys Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Charlie T. Brady, Cadwell; two sons, Charles Stevens Brady and Tommy Lynn Brady, both of Macon; her mother, Mrs. Trellie Stevens, Dexter; five brothers, G. O. Stevens, Lewis Stevens, both of Milledgeville, Thomas Stevens, Cadwell, Tennison Stevens, Sarasota, Fla., and Clayton Stevens, Fostario, Ohio; five sisters, Mrs. Grace Mullis, Dexter, Mrs. Georgia Alligood, Rentz, Mrs. Bonnie Stuckey, Green Cove Springs, Fla., Mrs. Catherine Horton, Dublin, and Mrs. Nelline Fowler, Eastman; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be nephews: Ricky Alligood, Mark Alligood, Lewis Gay, Clinton Gay, Jimmy Stevens, and Ronnie Stevens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7:30 to 9pm.
