Brady Services for Charlie Thomas Brady, 64, of Rt. 1 Cadwell, will be held at 2pm Thursday in the chapel of Townsend Funeral Home. The Rev. Jack Lee and the Rev. Grady Mimbs will officiate. Burial will be in Reedy Springs Primitive Baptist Church. A native of Dodge County, Mr. Brady was the son of the late Joe and Susie Mullis Brady. He lived in Macon for most of his life before moving to Cadwell 10 years ago. Mr. Brady was a retired truck driver for the Georgia-Carolina Oil Co., a cabinetmaker, and a member of Cross Keys Baptist Church in Macon. He died Tuesday night at a Dublin hospital after an illness of 11 months. Survivors include his wife, Aubrey Mullis Brady of Cadwell; two sons, Steve S. Brady of Macon and Tommy Lynn Brady of Chelan, Wash.; two grandchildren, Chris Brady and Michelle Brady, both of Dublin; two sisters, Lois Peacock of Cochran and Winelle Brady of Macon; four brothers, Talmadge Tidwell of Macon, Woodrow Tidwell of Dillon, SC, Russell Tidwell of Washington State, and T. C. Tidwell of Idaho. Pallbearers will be Steve Mullis, Ralph Mullis, Raymond Mullis, Larry Brewer, Wayne Pool, and Jeff Peacock. The family will receive friends from 7:30-9 tonight at the funeral home. Additional Comments: Charlie was born 31 Dec 1923. His first wife, Mary Ellen Stevens Brady is also buried at Reedy Springs PBC Cemetery. Georgia death certificate #017979.
