(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net September 9, 2009, 6:02 am The Dublin Courier-Herald 11-24-1967 Front Page Mrs. Brantley's Funeral Rites At Brewton Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Foskey Brantley, 87, of Dublin Rt. 2, will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Brewton Baptist Church with the Rev. William Wallace and the Rev. James Frost officiating. Burial will be in Brewton Cemetery and Townsend Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers will be Donald Brantley, Doyle Brantley, Henry Brantley, Randall Graham, Roger Brown, and George Miller. The body will be placed in state at the church at 1pm Saturday. A lifelong resident of the Brewton community, Mrs. Brantley was the daughter of the late George Foskey and Georgia Ann Pope Foskey and the widow of Lee Brantley. She was a member of the Brewton Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Ralph Brantley and Cecil Brantley, both of Dublin; two daughters, Mrs. F. T. Clark and Mrs. Ruby Lavendar, both of Dublin; two sisters, Mrs. Okella Mimbs of Dublin and Mrs. Clara Mimbs of Adrian; and eight grandchildren. Additional Comments: Annie was born 10-10-1880.
