His wife, Mamie Foskey Brickey is also buried there. From The Dublin Courier Herald 10-23-1964 W. G. Brickey Funeral Rites SOPERTON---Warren G. Brickey, age 72, of Rockledge, died Thursday in a Dublin hospital after an extended illness. Funeral services for Mr. Brickey will be conducted at 3PM Sunday at the Rockledge Methodist Church with Rev. W. E. Flanders and Rev, Curtis Drake officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Zion Cemetery in Laurens County. Mr. Brickey was a veteran of World War I and a memebr of the Masons and Shriners. He was a retired policeman and had served on police forces in Belle Glade, Fla., Dublin, and Vidalia. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mamie Foskey Brickey; four sons, Marvin L., Washington, DC, William B., Dublin, Vernon, Perry, and Robert, Jacksonville, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. Ralph Litteral, South Point, Ohio, Mrs. Emmy Atkins, Waverly, Ohio, Mrs. Lois Jansen, Louisville, KY., and Mrs. Frank Disco, Somerset, Ky.; three stepdaughters, Mrs. W. R. Foskey, Macon, Mrs. Grace Cribbs, Macon, and Mrs. Pearl Wood, Dublin. The body will be placed in the church one hour before services. Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton is in charge of arrangements.
