                          Mr. Brooks
 Graveside services for Hilary David "Dave" Brooks, 51, of 12 Swamp Tox Trial, 
Greer, SC, will be held at 2pm Friday at Dublin Memorial Gardens. The Rev. 
Bill Weeks will officiate. Funeral services were held at 11am today at Wood's 
Mortruary Chapel in Greer.
 A native of Laurens County, Mr. Brooks was the son of the late Jessie Lee and 
Reitha Mae Keene Gibson, attended Georgia Military College at Milledgeville 
and served in the US Army. He had lived in Greer for the past two and a half 
years, was a cost accounting specialist for J. P. Stevens & Co. Inc. and a 
Baptist.
 Mr. Brooks died Thursday in Greer.
 Survivors include his wife, Trabue Sutton Brooks of Greer; two sons, Phillip 
David Brooks of Greer and ET 3/C Jeffery Alan Brooks, stationed with the Us 
Navy at Charleston, SC; three sisters, Sherry Houston of Stone Mountain, 
Jessie Mae Hilburn of Dublin, and Patsy Mitchell of East Point; and several 
aunts, uncles, and cousins.
 The body will arrive in Dublin tonight and will lie in state at Townsend 
Brothers Funeral Home until the funeral hour.
 The family will be at the home of Mrs. Brooks parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dessie 
Sutton, Route 1 Dublin. They will receive friends from 7:30-9 o'clock tonight 
at the funeral home.
