                             Mrs. Carter
 Amanda Riner Carter, 64, of 1203 W. Moore Street, Dublin, died Saturday night 
in a local hospital after an extended illness. Services were held at 1pm 
Monday in the chapel of Townsend Funeral Home. Burial was in Northview 
Cemetery.
 A native of Johnson County, Mrs. Carter was the daughter of the late Leon 
Riner and Dora Tyson Riner of Johnson County. She was married to the late Carl 
M. Carter Sr. of Laurens County and was a member of the Primitive Baptist 
Church.
 Survivors include two sons, Carl M. Carter Jr. of Ooltwah, Tenn. and 
Don "Buzzy" Carter of Dublin; two daughters, Sylvia C. Burch of Augusta and 
Delores Chancey of Hinesville; a brother, Leon Riner Jr. of Atlanta; two 
sisters, Leola R. Glaze of Macon and Betty R. Proctor of Ocilla; and six 
grandchildren.

Amanda was born 4 Feb 1915. Georgia death certificate #040299.
