                       Chance Rites Held This A. M.
 Funeral services for Miss Maggie Chance, 71, were held this morning at ten 
o'clock at Dudley Baptist Church with burial at Dudley cemetery . The Rev. J. 
W. Hayes officiated and nephews acted as pallbearers. Adams Funeral Home was 
in charge.
 Miss Chance, who was born and reared in Dodge County, had made her home for 
the past eleven years with Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Passmore. She died at her 
residence yesterday morning after being ill two weeks. She was a Methodist and 
a member of Pine Hill Church.
 Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Ira Davis of Dudley; two brothers, Henry 
Chance of Eastman and Johnny Chance of Jesup.

Georgia death certificate #27528. Maggie's parents were James M. Chance and 
Mary Jane Arnold Chance.
