                            Mr. Collins
 Services for Lawson C. Collins, 77, of Rockledge, will be held at 3pm 
Saturday in the chapel of Sammons Funeral Home in Soperton. The Rev. W. E. 
Flanders will officiate and burial will be in the Thigpen Cemetery in Laurens 
County.
 A native of Soperton, Mr. Collins was married to the late Essie Mae Foskey 
Collins, was a retired farmer, and a member of Union Baptist Church. He died 
Friday morning at a Milledgeville hospital.
 Survivors include a son, John E. Collins of Rockledge; a daughter, Mary Jean 
Powell of Umatilla, Fla.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Lawson was born 6-3-1908. Georgia death certificate #011891.
