                       Mrs. Collins Buried Today
 Funeral services for Mrs. Effie Mae Collins, 40, of Rockledge, were held 
today, June 16, at 3pm at Rockledge Methodist Church and interment followed in 
Thigpen Cemetery. Rev. J. M. Thomas of Rockledge officiated with Sammons 
Funeral Home directing.
 Mrs. Collins was born in Treutlen County and was a member of the Primitive 
Baptist Church, She had resided at her present address for two months. She 
died June 14 in a local hospital following an illness of seven days. She was 
married in 1927 to Lawson Collins and he survives her.
 Other survivors include one daughter, Mary Jean Collins, Rockledge; one son, 
John Collins, Dublin; one sister, Mrs. Ruby Bass, Savannah; two brothers, 
Marvin Foskey, Dublin and Thelma F. Foskey, Rockledge.

Additional Comments:
Effie Mae was born 10-24-1910 to John W. Foskey and Mary Jane Wynn Foskey.
