L. Coixwell, age 58, died at a local hospital Wednesday morning after an illness lasting a week before death came. Mr. Coxwell was one of the older residents of the county and he had lived for as number of years at his plantation on Route Two out from here. He struggled with the elements and came out victorious. He was a man of higest character, a devoted husband and father. He was affiliated with the Methodist church. The deceased is survived by his wife, Mrs. Coxwell and eight children. They are, J. E. and Paul Coxwell of Dublin; Mrs. M. W. Lidell of Atlanta; Mrs. B. F. Ogburn of Dexter; and Lois, Gladys, Pauline, and June Coxwell, all of Dublin. Funeral services were held today at 1:30 at the Bolling SpringsChurch with rev. Harden officiating. J. Hughes Lord is in charge of the interment.
