June 19, 1934. Mr. W. L. CRABB LAID TO REST. Funeral at Shady Grove Methodist Church. Funeral services for W. L. Crabb, 84, were held at Shady Grove church Friday afternoon, with Rev. J. C. Brewton, of Brewton, in charge of services. Mr. Crabb passed away Friday morning, June 15 (1934) at the home of his son, Andrew Crabb on South Jefferson Street, in Dublin. Deceased first united with the Methodist church at Glenwood during his boyhood and remained a faithful member until his passing. Deceased was married three times during his long life; his first wife being Martha Jewell. Of his union was born four children, Mrs. G. W. NeSmith, Mrs. Lavernne Summerlin and A. J. Crabb, surviving. His second wife was Miss Lizze Toller, of this union three children survive, Mrs. Mattie Trotter, Mrs. Lilly Smith and W. T. Crabb. His third Wife was Miss Mahala Jewell and six children survive this union, as follows, A. T. Crabb, R. A. Crabb, Mrs. Minnie Eddge, Mrs. Minittie Dowd, Mrs. Mary Willie NeSmith and Mrs. Viola Self. Sixty-two grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren also mourn his passing.
