Berton T. Crabb Funeral Rites Here Tuesday. Funeral rites for Berton Thomas Crabb, 62, of 1213 Telfair Street, will be held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Marie Baptist Church when the Pastor, Dr. Allen J. Freeman, will officiate. Active pallbearers will be his nephews, James Crabb, Clifford Crabb, John Milton Crabb, Robert Lawrence, Joseph Cherry and Billy Cherry. Burial will be in the church cemetery and Townsend Brothers Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Crabb, native of Laurens County, died Sunday morning at his home after an extended illness. He was a life-long resident of Dublin and the Marie Community, a retired cab operator and a member of the Marie Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Nolia Cherry; three daughters, Mrs. Jean Brack, of Dublin, and Misses Barbara Jean and Nollie Fae Crabb, Dublin; one brother, Callie Crabb, Macon; two sisters, Mrs. W. B. Lawrence of Alabama and Dublin, and Mrs. J. T. Mullis of Dublin.; and two grandchildren.
