Cullen Sr. 67, prominent farmer and merchant, were held this morning at the Jefferson Street Baptist Church when the pastor, Re. Marshall Nelms and Rev. C. E. Vines officiated. Burial was in Northview Cemetery with Masonic rites. He came to Dublin in 1900 and was always active in business, political, civic, and religious affairs of the city and county. He was former chairman of the Laurens Democratic Club, former deacon of the Jefferson Street Baptist Church, former trustee of the Condor school, and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He died Sunday night in a local hospital after a long illness. Survivors are his wife, the former Miss Bernice Keen; one son, O. D. Cullen Jr. of Dublin; one daughter, Mrs. Andy Ferrence of Tallasassee, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. John Pope of East Dublin; two grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Additional Comments: O.
