                              Ralph Davis
 Ralph Davis, 63, 211 W. Moore St., died Sunday afternoon at his residence 
after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3PM at the 
chapel of Townsend Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Brantley officiating. Burial 
will be in Dublin Memorial Gardens.
 A lifelong resident of Laurens County, Mr. Davis was the son of the late T. 
J. Davis and Sidney Wynn Davis. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and a 
retired painter.
 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Davis, Dublin; one son, Howard 
Davis, Dublin; one daughter, Mrs. Lavern Wright, Dublin; one brother, T. J. 
Davis, Sanford, Fla.; three sisters, Mrs. Alberta Watson, Milledgeville, Mrs. 
LaVert Keene, Dublin, and Mrs. Dorothy Smith, Valdosta; and three 
grandchildren, Cynthia Davis, Crysta Davis, and Susan Wright, all of Dublin.
 Pallbearers will be Marvin Browning, Robert Nesbitt, W. D. Smith, Lunice 
Moorman, Russell Mathews, and Roy Elrod. The family will receive friends at 
the funeral home Monday night from 7:30 to 9:00PM.
 Townsend Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
