(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net November 7, 2011, 8:29 pm The Dublin Courier Herald 6-6-1996 Minnie Lee Davis Funeral services for Minnie Lee Davis, 76, of 863 Clayhill Road, Dublin, will be held Friday at 3pm at Tweed Chapel Church of God in Laurens County with burial in Red Bluff Cemetery in Treutlen County. The Revs. Harvard Hudson and Wayne Hughes will officiate. A native of Bleckley County, Mrs. Davis was the daughter of the late James N. English and the late Agnes Heath English. She was a member of Tweed Chapel Church of God, was retired from Mohawk, and was a homemaker. Mrs. Davis died Wednesday. Survivors include her husband, George B. Davis of Dublin; three sons, Calvin Davis of Dexter, George Davis of Camilla, and Ernest L. Davis of Macon; one daughter, Annette Foskey of Wrightsville; four sisters, Valla Wilkinson and Addie Snow, both of Dudley and Mabel Hendricks and Zadie Melton, both of Dublin; two brothers, Herschel English of Montrose and Zadie English of Cochran; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be George W. Davis II, Johnny Bayto, David Norris, Herbert McTier, Lyle Olson, and Millard English.
