                            Stephen E. Drew
 Services for Stephen Earl Drew, 69, of 115 West Drive Dublin, will be held at 
2pm Saturday at the Jefferson Street Baptist Church Chapel. Dr. James Sampley 
and the Rev. James H. Frost will officiate. Burial will be in Dublin Memorial 
Gardens.
 A native of Laurens County, Mr. Drew was the son of the late George L. and 
Nettie Ann Foskey Drew. He was a veteran of World War II and a retired civil 
service employee from the Carl Vinson Veterans Administration Medical Center.
 Mr. Drew was a member of Pinehurst Drive Baptist Church, Lodge No. 1609 of 
the Loyal Order of the Moose, the Legion of the Moose, the Laurens County 
Sportsman's Club, and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). 
He died Thursday morning at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.
 Suirvivors include his wife, Betty Grace Tallent Drew of Dublin; a son, 
Robert T. Drew of Dublin; and a brother, T. L. Drew of Dublin.
 Pallbearers will be members of the Dublin Fire Department.
 Officers of the Dublin Moose Lodge and officers of the Laurens Shrine Club 
will serve as honorary escort.

Additional Comments:
Stephen was born abt 1919. Georgia death certificate #002034. His first wife 
is Unknown ( to me)and his second wife was Effie Irby Drew who is also buried 
at Dublin Memorial Gardens.
