M. Foskey Taken By Death Mrs. Missouri Mimbs Foskey, 83, wife of C. M. Foskey of Route 6 Dublin, died early Wednesday ay her home following a heart attack about two hours earlier. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Bay Springs Church, with the Rev. C. S. Walker of Vidalia officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Sammons Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Foskey was a native of Laurens County. She was a charter member of the Bay Springs church. Surviving besides her husband, are four sons, W. E. and R. L. Foskey, Dublin Route 6; H. T. and C. E. Foskey, Wrightsville; five daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Brantley, Dublin; Mrs. Arphelia Horton, Rockledge; Mrs. J. W. D. Johnson, Adrian Route 2; Mrs. Iona Davis, Adrian and Mrs. Ethel Watts, Soperton Route 2; one sister, Mrs. Arlie Claxton, Uvalda; a half-sister, Mrs. Brad Ivey, Savannah; a half-brother, Cephus Mimbs, Lakeland, Fla.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were R. E. Cone, Marvin Powell, Hilrey Hester, M. G. Watts, Curtis Foskey, and Herman Bush. Additional Comments: Her parents were John Lofton Mimbs and Catherine Flanders Mimbs.
