M. Foskey, 81, Rites Tuesday Death Follows That Of Wife By Only A Short Time Funeral services for C. M. Foskey, 81, who died Monday night at his home on Dublin Route 6 after an illness of about two years, were held Tuesday afternoon at Bay Springs Church, the Rev. S. D. Walker of Vidalia officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, with Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton in charge. Mr. Foskey was a native of Johnson County and a member of the Baptist Church. He had engaged in farming. Mr. Foskey's death followed that of his wife by only a short time, she having died on May 20. Surviving are four sons, C. E. and H. T. Foskey, Wrightsville; W. E. and R. L. Foskey, Dublin Route 6; five daughters, Mrs. J. W. D. Johnson, Adrian; Mrs. Morris Horton, Rockledge; Mrs. Iona Davis, Adrian; Mrs. E. J. Watts, Soperton; and Mrs. John Brantley, Dublin; four brothers, Lott Foskey, Wrightsville; N. T. Foskey, Adrian; A. L. Foskey, Scott; and Pete Foskey, Rockledge; sixty-nine grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Marvin Powell, R. C. Wyatt, E. B. Purdue, Tom Young, Herman Bush, and Curtis Foskey. Additional Comments: His parents were Andrew Jackson "Jack" Foskey and Roxanna Ann "Roxie" Barwick Foskey.
