                     Eddie L. Foskey Funeral Rites Held Sunday
 Funeral services for Eddie L. Foskey, 51, of 306 Broad Street, East Dublin, 
who died Saturday afternoon at his residence, following an extended illness, 
were held at 4:00 PM Sunday afternoon at the First Church of the Nazarene in 
Dublin. The Rev. W. P. Smithson, the Rev. Arthur Foskey Jr., and the Rev. 
Durell Garnto officiated and interment followed in the Dublin Memorial Gardens.
 Active pallbearers were Lanier Foskey, Wilburn Foskey, Remus Foskey, James 
Hornton and Remus Hatcher.
 An honorary escort included M. O. Darsey, J. L. Reese, W. H. White, Robert 
Kight, Billy Wilson, Vester Holmes, Lonnie Criswell, Monroe Carter, James 
Wood, and Hugh Wood.
 Mr. Foskey was a native of Johnson County, but had lived most of his life in 
Laurens County. He was an automobile mechanic and a member of Blue Springs 
Baptist Church.
 Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Juanita Horton Foskey of East Dublin; two sons, 
Gaston Lee Foskey of East Dublin and Jimmie Foskey, USAF, Robins Field; one 
daughter, Mrs. Marilyn McBride of Chickamauga; four sisters, Mrs. Ester Riley 
of Lyons, Mrs. Rilla Spell of Soperton, Mrs. Bessie Cole of Atlanta, and Mrs. 
Iris Horton of Scott; three brothers, Jesse and Ollie Foskey, both of Scott 
and Otis Foskey of Wrightsville; and one grandchild.
 Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton was in charge of arrangements. 

Additional Comments:
Eddie was born 2-21-1915 to William Richard "Pa Pete" Foskey and Elizabeth 
E. "Lizzie" Daniels Foskey.
