Foskey, 74, of Dublin, Rt. 6, will be held Friday afternoon at three o'clock at the Silver Leaf Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. T. H. Beckworth, the Rev. James Frost, and the Rev. Clyde Bowen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Townsend Funeral Home will direct the rites. The family will receive their friends Thursday night from seven to nine PM at the Townsend Funeral Home. A lifelong resident of Laurens County, Mr. Foskey was the son of the late Charles Foskey and the late Charlotte Tyson Foskey, a retired farmer and member of the Union Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. Foskey died Thursday night in a local hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his widow, the former Claudia Clements of Dublin; five sons, Eugene, Boots, and Eddie Foskey, all of Dublin, Jim Foskey of Eastman and the Rev. Everett Foskey of Griffin; four daughters, Mrs. Etta Mae Scott and Mrs. Nettie Johnson, both of Cave Springs, Mrs. Carrie Dominy of Centerville, and Mrs. Vera Wood of Dublin; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hall and Mrs. Neal Webb, both of Dublin; 31 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
