                         Henry Tilt Foskey
 Funeral services for Henry Tilt Foskey, 90, of 639 Vinson Village, will be 
held Friday at three p.m. at the Mt. Olive Church of the Nazarene with the 
Rev. Jack Hinton, the Rev. Robert Johnson, and the Rev. Paul M. Lawrence 
officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Townsend Brothers Funeral 
Home has charge of the rites.
 Pallbearers will include grandsons, Johnny Foskey, Edward Bush, Bobby Rogers, 
Mike Grinstead, Charles Haywood, Maxie Price, Jimmy and David Price. An 
honorary escort will be composed by Grady Thompson, West and Ralph Haywood, 
Ralph Smith, Clinton Ellison, Asbury Meeks, Gordon Smith, Officer Couey, and 
Jack Perry.
 Native of Johnson County, Mr. Foskey had lived here for many years. He was a 
member of the First Church of the Nazarene. A retired farmer, he died 
Wednesday night at his home after a long period of declining health. He was 
the son of the late Curtis Foskey and Mrs. Louserri Mimbs Foskey of Laurens 
County.
 His survivors are his widow, Mrs. Leonia Williams Foskey, Dublin; four sons, 
Hardy Foskey of Rentz, Herbert Foskey of East Dublin, and Woodrow and Roy 
Foskey of Dublin; three daughters, Mrs. Lucille Tyson and Mrs. Myrtle Smith of 
Dublin, and Mrs. Gaynelle Bush of East Dublin; a brother, Lonzie Foskey of 
Dublin; a sister, Mrs. Iona Davis of Soperton; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-
grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
