                         Mrs. Ruthie J. Foskey
 Funeral services for Mrs. Ruthie Johnson Foskey, 71, of Rentz, Rt. 1, will be 
held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Silver Leaf Primitive Baptist Church with the 
Rev. Paul Lawrence and the Elder Paul Thomas officiating. Burial will be in 
the Silver Leaf Cemetery, and Townsend Funeral Home is in charge of the 
arrangements.
 Mrs. Foskey died Friday afternoon in a local hospital after an extended 
illness.
 The family will receive their friends at the Townsend Funeral Home Saturday 
night from seven until nine p.m.
 A lifelong resident of Laurens County, Mrs. Foskey was the daughter of the 
late Andrew Johnson and the late Ellen Davis Johnson of Laurens County. She 
was the widow of the late Freeman L. Foskey of Laurens County. Mrs. Foskey was 
a member of the Silver Leaf Primitive Baptist Church.
 Her survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Branum of Rentz and Mrs. Rita Goff 
of Lake Wales, Fla.; one son, Delmar Foskey of Rentz; one sister, Mrs. Jenny 
Pope of Dublin; and three grandchildren.
 Her body will be placed at two p. m. in the Silver Leaf Baptist Church until 
the funeral hour.
