                         Raiford Lonzie Foskey
 Raiford Lonzie Foskey, 77, of Rt. 6 Dublin, died unexpectedly Saturday 
morning. Mr. Foskey was a native of Johnson County but had lived in Laurens 
County for 50 years. He was a member of the Minter Baptist Church and was 
married to the late Dollie Foskey.
 Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J. O. Gay, Dublin and one sister, Mrs. 
Iona Davis of Soperton and two grandchildren.
 The funeral was held at 3:00 o'clock yesterday at the Minter Baptist Church 
with Rev. Hubert Hollis, Rev. Earl Warnock, and Rev. Douglas Bush officiating.
 Pallbearers included Benson Drew, George Drew, Preston Young, Leon Smith, 
Paul Young, and Gene Stewart.
 Sammons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Raford (as spelled on his death certificate #005218) was born 1-27-1899 to 
Curtis Manning Foskey and Catherine Missouri Mimbs Foskey.
