Foskey Died Sunday Last rites will be held Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 EWT at Bethlehem Church for Ira W. Foskey, 67, will known planter who resided near Dublin on Route Six. Interment will be in the church cemetery and the body will be at Townsend Brothers until the hour of the services. The Rev. C. E. Vines will officiate. Active pallbearers are listed as E. B. Wommack, Clarence Daniel, Hugh Thigpen, W. L. Lake, John W. Pope, and O. D. Cullen. Honorary pallbearers include Judge R. Earl Camp, J. W. Hester, F. A. Josey, Freeman Brantley, Brodis Braddy, W. P. Roche, J. E. Beckham, F. M. Aiken, and Roy Pope. Mr. Foskey died Sunday after a year's illness and leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Mrs. I. W. Foskey, the former Miss Clyde Denton; two sons; Tillman and Roy Lee Foskey of Dublin Route 6; two brothers, Freeman Foskey of Florida and Charles Foskey of Caldwell; and one sister, Miss Mary Willie Foskey of Dublin. The deceased was born and raised in Laurens County and was of the Methodist faith. Additional Comments: Ira was born 8-22-1876 to George William "Bill" Foskey and Sallie Sue "Misouria" Jones.
