                 Sudden Death Of John W. Foskey
 Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, three o'clock for John W. 
Foskey, age 56, at Rockledge Baptist Church with the Rev. Tol Thomas 
officiating. Interment was in the Thigpen Cemetery.
 Mr. Foskey, a prominent farmer, was born and reared in this county and had 
lived in Rockledge for the past year. He was stricken with a heart attack and 
passed away instantly. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. 
Surviving are his widow, the former Miss Mary Wynn, to whom he was married in 
1909. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Essie Mae Collins of Rockledge 
and Mrs. Ruby Bass of Savannah; two sons, Marvin and Thelman Foskey, both of 
Rockledge; and five grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
John was born 2-11-1887 to Lewis N. Foskey and Mary Ann Thigpen Foskey. His 
wife is also buried in the Thigpen CCemetery.
