(Jim) Carroll williamcarrollj@bellsouth.net April 1, 2009, 3:26 pm The Dublin Courier Herald 12-15-1966 Front Page Roy Lee Foskey Funeral Rites Friday Morning Funeral services for Roy Lee Foskey, 60, of Route 6 Dublin, who died Wednesday night in a local nursing home after an extended illness, will be held from the Townsend Chapel at 11:00AM Friday. The Rev. James H. Frost will officiate and burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will remain at Townsend Chapel until the time of the funeral. Pallbearers will be Hugh Wood, Tillman Jones, Dewey Warnock, Garnett Woods, Glenn Harden, and H. C. Alligood. Mr. Foskey was a lifelong resident of Laurens County, son of the late Ira W. Foskey and Clyde Dennard Foskey. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one brother, Tillman Foskey of Dublin; three nieces, Mrs. Glenn Harden, Mrs. H. C. Alligood, and Mrs. J. C. Hall, all of Dublin; and four nephews, Curtis Foskey, Denton Foskey, Larry Foskey, and Bill Foskey, all of Dublin.
