                             Marvin Foskey
 Services for Marvin James Foskey, 80, of Rockledge, will be held at 3pm today 
at Union Baptist Church in Laurens County. The Rev. Al Soles and Elder Paul 
Thomas will officiate and burial will be in Thigpen Cemetery in Rockledge. A 
native of Treutlen County, Mr. Foskey had lived in Laurens County for 42 
years, was the son of the late John W. and Mary Jane Wynn Foskey, was retired 
from Bassett Furniture Company, and was a member of Norris Chapel Primitive 
Baptist Church in Rockledge. He died Monday night in a Dublin hospital.
 Survivors include his wife, Joyce Holmes Foskey of Rockledge; three sons, 
John Lewis Foskey of Dublin, James Wendell Foskey of Gordon, and Marvin Ricky 
Foskey of East Dublin; four daughters, Patricia Anderson of Rockledge, Earsey 
Annette Poston of Cookeville, Tn., Emily Louise Stewart of Beach Island, SC, 
and Johnnie Ree Stewart of Ozark, Ala.; a sister, Ruby Bass of Soperton; 18 
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 nieces.
 Pallbearers are Mr. Foskey's grandsons, Scott Foskey, Joshua Foskey, Brad 
Anderson, Frank Poston, Jerry Poston, and Mike Stewart.
 Ken Smith, Tommy Holmes, Eugene Chester, Mike Thigpen, Quitman Williams, 
Rusty Thompson, Robert Thigpen, Wallace Miller, Dr. John A. Bell, Cecil 
Chance, and Malcolm Thigpen will serve as honorary escort.
 The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Anderson, Route 1, Rockledge.
 Sammons Funeral Home of Soperton has charge of arrangements.
