Desdemonie (maiden name Graham) Foskey  was born abt 1865 and died  9-29-1932 (
GA DC# 22194) and is buried in Mount Zion Cemetery in Rockledge, Laurens County,
Georgia. Her husband, Joseph Radford "Bud" Foskey, as well as her father,
Needham George Washington (N. G. W. ) Graham, are also buried there. 

Joseph Stanley Wood was born abt 1928 and died 9-29-1932 and is buried in Mount
Zion Cemetery in Rockledge, Laurens County, Georgia. His mother, Mamie (maiden
name Foskey) Wood Brickey is also buried there.

  LADY, GRANDSON ARE LAID REST

                                                         Both Died and Buried On
Same Day

An aged and esteemed lady of the Rockledge community and her grandson were laid
to rest in the Mt. Zion cemetery Friday afternoon. Mrs. J. R. Foskey, 70, and
her grandson, J. B. Woods, 4, were taken sick on the same day and both passed
away Thursday.
Mrs. Foskey was a pioneer citizen of the Rockledge community and had many
friends who mourn her passing. J. B. Woods, the son of Mrs. Mamie Woods, was a
bright boy and loved by all who knew him. He and his grandmother died Thursday,
September 29th.
Mrs. Foskey is survived by her husband; six daughters, Mrs. W. D. Lawrence, Mrs.
J. H. Fulford, Mrs. H. B. Beacham, Mrs. Mamie Woods, Mrs. George Gillis and Mrs.
Ira Graham; two sons, J. S. Foskey and Woodroe Foskey; one sister, Miss Mollie
Graham and three brothers, A. J. Graham, C. M. Graham, and J. A. Graham. Besides
these, she leaves a host of friends and relatives who mourn her passing.
